- What is PORTEIRO?
PORTEIRO when translated from Brazilian Portuguese into English means “concierge,” is a Lifestyle Management business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) mobile marketplace designed for Android and iOS devices that facilitate the exchange of services offered by local solopreneurs and small businesses (Partners), enabling busy professionals and individuals (Members) to request on-demand and/or schedule services to be fulfilled at an individual’s location of choice (home, office, other location, or on-location), anytime, anywhere.
- What makes PORTEIRO different from other apps?
Our competitors are either referral generators only, niche-specific, and/or not an end-to-end marketplace like Amazon, Airbnb, or Uber.
What makes PORTEIRO different from other apps:
- For Members, it is a lifestyle management marketplace that uses emerging technologies enabling Members to personalize their specific daily needs, request, and schedule on-demand, pay for services in-app, contribute to a specific cause of their choice and rate Partners with reduced service and delivery fees, called a Convenience Fee.
- For Partners, they will have the ability to accept and complete service requests, receive pay in-app, contribute to a specific cause of their choice, and rate Members with reduced fees to deliver services.
The additional advantage of using PORTEIRO compared to other apps is that we do not charge Partners non-subscription-based services such as online booking, SMS/email reminders, point of sale (POS) transactions, and Member review collection.
Other apps either charge a payment processing fee to receive payment or the Partner (service provider) has to use a POS or payment processing solution that charges a transaction fee. PORTEIRO does not charge Partners a transaction fee to receive payments as these are covered by the variable Marketplace Fees.
Additionally, as part of our social impact purpose, we contribute 0.5% of total revenue to the same causes selected by both Members and Partners during a service transaction. If no contributions were made by either Members or Partners, we contribute up to 1% for team-specific causes.

PORTEIRO works by connecting an ecosystem of Members and Partners to transact anytime, anywhere and generate a societal impact through the facilitation of services on the platform.
- Is there any satisfaction guarantee on service received from the Partner?
PORTEIRO guarantees the satisfaction of service received from the Partner. This is further validated with the rating of Partners by Members and the verification of Partner reviews by other channels. If any Partner does not meet our minimal service rating benchmark, they will be removed from the PORTEIRO Marketplace. Additionally, if a Member is dissatisfied with the service, we will work with both the Member and Partner to resolve the issue.

- Who are the customers of PORTEIRO?
There are three customers of the PORTEIRO Marketplace, identified as follows:
- Service Providers – A service provider is a small business or solopreneur, who we consider a PORTEIRO Partner, who delivers services and/or solutions that are on-demand or scheduled to consumers and organizations.
- Consumers – An individual person, who we consider a PORTEIRO Member, who purchases goods and services for personal use.
- Benefactors – An individual, community, group, or organization, who we consider PORTEIRO Benefactors, who are the recipients of contributions to help a person or cause.
Sales Management
- What qualifies me to be a PORTEIRO Partner?
The acceptance requirements to become a PORTEIRO Partner are as follows:
- Create a Stripe Business Connect account prior to downloading PORTIERO enabling subscription management and accurate, complete and timely payment for sold services.
- Pass a criminal background back.
- Possess a valid state business license for your industry.
- Possess an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for applicable companies.
- Possess valid city and state business permits.
- Maintain a “Good Standing” with the local corporation commission.
- Possess a driver license or government issued identification.
- Own or lease a smart phone or tablet with active cellular service.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- What business information do I need to register as a PORTEIRO Partner?
The information needed to register as a PORTEIRO Partner are as follows:
- Name: First, Middle (if available), and Last
- Business Email
- Business Name
- Driver’s License Number
- Driver’s License Issue Date
- Driver’s License Expiration Date
- Business Address, City, State and Zip Code
- Do I have to do x-number of transactions to remain a PORTEIRO Partner?
There are no minimum transaction requirements to remain a PORTEIRO Partner. However, you must adhere to the PORTEIRO Marketplace Terms of Use and maintain a satisfactory service rating standard.
Risk & Security Management
- What security measures are taken for Member safety?
Prior to onboarding a PORTEIRO Partner as a Service Provider onto the PORTEIRO Marketplace, all are identified and evaluated with a criminal background check by our Risk Management partner, IDScan.net, to minimize and reduce the probability of harm, ensuring Members’ safety.
Due to the global pandemic, in adherence with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, we have integrated a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination status feature, whereas both Partners and Members can self-identify and upload proof. We plan to continuously integrate features showing compliance with health protocols, ensuring Members’ safety.
Financial Management & Pricing Plans
- Who is PORTEIRO’s payment processor?
PORTEIRO uses Stripe’s payment processing platform to accept payments.
- What are the transaction fees to use PORTEIRO?
PORTEIRO is a B2B2C marketplace that charges:
- Partners a monthly subscription fee and variable marketplace fee taken as a percentage of delivered services to Members.
- Members a monthly subscription fee and variable convenience fee taken as a percentage upcharge of delivered services by Partners.

Currently, there are four subscription plans with no processing fees to receive payments ever. PORTEIRO pays for all payment transactional fees from Stripe.
Marketplace fees are a percentage of service price charged after each completed transaction to market, sell and deliver services on the platform & utilize emerging technologies and are dependent upon the selected subscription plan.
